Product diversification by looking of market segmentation was made in order to fulfill all demand with different qualification of cassava chips quality. KingKong premium was created to fulfill the higher expectation of cassava chips quality. Higher and larger quality of cassava was firstly introduced to the consumer on June 2014 with Original flavor. Later on, Cheese and Spicy flavor also enter the market to provide consumer with more choice of flavor.

Kingkong Premium defines as highly recommended product of fried roots snack which passing through strict sortation process and controlled frying system, packed by special type of packaging which has unique and elegant design.

KingKong Premium differ from KingKong Reguler for some points, e.i:

  • Cassava size (using bigger size of roots than KingKong reguler)
  • Step of sortation (adding one more step of sortation for KingKong Premium)
  • Oil quality (using higher quality of frying oil than KingKong Reguler)
  • Packaging (using special type of packaging and design)
  • Seasoning (not using Monosodium Glutamate as enhancer)
